Hi! My name is Ed Muccioli; I am a
second generation Italian with a passion for Italian Bicycles. In
2009, while touring Italy, I stopped in a bicycle shop and noticed
an unusual bicycle saddle for a road bike. Unusual in that it was
adjustable. The name Selle was familiar to me, so I decided to buy
it when I got back in the states. To my surprise it was not
available in the states. After quite a bit of research I realized
the Selle Saddle I had seen was a Selle Bassano, which is an Italian
manufacturer of hand made saddles sold only in Europe. I ended up
going back to Italy again in 2009, visited the factory and am now
the only person selling these saddles in the U.S.A.
At that time I decided to create a
company that would sell Italian bicycle products in the U.S.A. This
company is Italian Bicycle Parts®.
Milani
Cycles is a bicycle manufacturer that was started in 1927. They
offer a full line of high-end bicycles from traditional type to full
carbon fiber. I am one of 3 U.S. bicycle shops that currently sell
Milani Cycles. Celeste Milani refers to me as his “Ambassador to
Texas”. I have the privilege to sell his bicycles in the Texas area.
For the last 3 or 4 years I have
unsuccessfully searched the U.S. and Italy for a skull cap in the
Italian colors (red, white, and green). My daughter Camille is
currently a junior at U.N.T. majoring in Fashion Design; so you
guessed it, she has created a skull cap for me in the Italian
colors. We have selected a material that makes it perfect to wear
under a helmet.
Italian Bicycle Parts’® mission is
to sell quality Italian bicycles and bicycle accessories in the U.S.
at the same price these products would sell for in Italy.
In April of 2011 I was fortunate to
add the following bicycle lines:
“Zullo” Tiziano Zullo got his
start building frames for pros—but the bikes carried sponsors'
logos. But from 1986 to 1992, he supplied the famous TVM team of
Phil Anderson and Robert Millar, who rode his bikes to victory in
countless races. Today, Zullo builds his frames in a small shop in
Castelnuovo del Garda, near Italy's Lake Garda. Handmade Beauty:
Built with Columbus's stainless-steel XCr tubeset, the Vergine (one
of four road models) features understated TIG-welded construction,
simple but gorgeous graphics, and an extended head tube. But it's
still a performance road bike: For proof, check out the massive
curved junction of the seat- and chainstay welds and the 8mm-thick
steel dropouts for lateral rigidity.
“HP Velotechnik”, Sit back, relax,
and enjoy the ride - recumbents and trikes are the perfect form of
transportation for active people. HP Velotechnik has been working
for more than 16 years on creating the best range of recumbent
bicycles and accessories you can buy
